Create cascading dropdown in design studio 1.6

I'm trying to implement  a very common scenario in dashboard designing. I need a cascading filter of region > area > city. 
for help but it didn't work out for me. I am using design studio 1.6
 
It can be achieved with zero coding.
 
The steps are as follows:
 
1.  Data Source Initial View
 
Make sure each of the filter dimensions are set to "Only values with Posted Data" as shown below:

2.  Property Binding 
 
Configure the Source and Target property binding of each of the Dropdown filter components as shown below:

3.  Application Output
