How To...Calculate YTD MTD WTD TD using Date Dimensions
After spending more than 72 hours in net and reading almost all the related articles available I finally concluded with something like this.....
What I tried to do is creating attribute views for each type and finally I combined all of them with the main table and created a analytical view.
Here is the attribute views -
1. WTD --
2. MTD --
Calculated Column -
3. YTD --
For TD I want to do in design studio itself.
This is the complete structure of the analytic view.
This is the data preview. U can the date_Date(WTD), YTD and MTD o/p along with other o/p.
One important point that i want to share is my date format is "DD-MM-YYYY". Now U have to adjust ur code based on ur date format.
